Sad to see them lose like that when it truly was a close match outside of breeze.

I feel like the teams a little disconnected right now compared to kickoff. Eeiu was baiting pretty hard for stats although he had some nice rounds, Artzin and Nerve were playing pretty scared/gave up a lot of needed space, even Koala who I glaze hard had a rougher series than usual (many heroic plays to give them advantages and good spots though) although I feel like Furia did NOT utilize his OP at all this series but to be honest the big finger point goes to Alym. He seems like such a skilled player but has never fully shown it and this series might be a big confidence breaker for him. People say he’s just a dive for the team duelist but if you really pay attention he’s individually making some pretty rough decisions and honestly was probably the reason Furia lost today.

Having your duelist go 7/17 fk/fd and -20 just makes everyone’s life 100x harder and I hope he can bounce back because damn I feel like everyone can see Furia truly are the real deal but with a currently inconsistent duelist like this they may start to slip as a team.

Furia had it in the bag especially if they won pistol their split is probably their 2nd best map and if you watched their regional matches they literally were a well oiled unit but today they just were clearly nervous and not willing to fight for space.

I’m not discrediting PRX they played great and deserved the win but for not winning any pistols and looking rough compared to kickoff it was closer than it should’ve been

even m not discrediting Furia...they did greatt in regionals....might have even beaten every other team here at santiago.... but lets be honest....that was a "close match".... forsaken bottom fragged last to maps and they still destroyed Furia.....

both teams are good....no hate..... m just sayin it was a close match.... furia sadly got dominated.....
no reason they cant do better...they arent out yet..... they can still comeback

No Furia just got lucky to be here. They can play good default game and has played good default game against G2 the game that G2 raised their butt unresistly to get bang on. They will be caught off guard if they see something they haven't seen before, become shaky and overthought in unfamiliar situation. PRX is type of team that your plan against them always go somewhat wrong thus push your creativity and adaptation over limit if you want to beat them.

Is Furia forever gonna be the team that’s “lucky to get places” because of their names?

These guys clearly work hard and destroyed in North America and even did good in their first international match.. they can easily win out in lower bracket.

While I agree the skill might be a little less than some international opponents as a whole of the roster at the very worst they got 2 world class players in eeiu and especially koala that can keep doing magic to bring Furia far. It’s a matter of art keeping the consistency he did in kickoff as an igl and fragging and the 2 rookies stepping up because so far it’s been more a disappointment from those 2 than super impressive.

yeah they clearly worked hard and improved a lot but the problem is their bracket run in kick-off was looking very tuff at first glance but it turned out to be quite convenient. underwhelmingly decent for a struggle journey to qualification that I expect should be but some might say it decent. They beat KRU - a coughing embryo team. They beat SEN who hasn't been recovered from the disband. They snowball G2 who on their routine of trolling the fan. Beating Mibr is the only honorable feat but not that extremely crazy to start getting delusional of they getting top 3, 4 or higher in Masters. They played good default is allat i could rate after watching them because this team lack of matches that push them to the limit, matches that help them pointing out their weaknesses more clearly so they could improve from that because their ops were not in good form, making mistakes all over the place. --> Furia has the determination and seriousness to learn and grow, however when they brought up the solutions, the problems solved itself so the feedbacks were almost nothing, zero to none --> false improvement.

Is furia forever gonna be the team that's "lucky to get places" --> Idk they are in the early stage of BBL. Hope they can keep composure and become new BBL of AMER.

going 0-6 on pistols is very rough for a team's international debut against an experienced team
