I believe the player you're thinking of is swerl (the guys who goes nuclear on Haven C site). He's an 18 year old from Iran (moved to AU) and is absolutely cracked. This guy is a one in a million talent and could genuinely be the best player to touch the game if he gets the right coach and IGL piloting him. Hopefully he gets noticed in EU because this kid is a monster.

advantages

• more utility in a certain area (initiator, controller, sentinel), better defaults
• some maps don't need a duelist since there are other ways to attack sites (Icebox, Ascent, probably Pearl)
• defense is usually a lot stronger

disadvantages

• can be hard to create space if you play it wrong
• star player may not be comfortable if they suck
