While I think Valorant is in a really balanced state right now and most agents see play in pro, I think there is a few tweaks that would really make the game chefs kiss.

Phoenix (buff)

Hot hands

• reduced equip time
• reduced duration (3.25s -> 2.00)
• increased healing per second (12.5 -> 25)
• increased damage per second (60 -> 80)

Blaze

• reduced equip time
• is now quick cast (similar to a Jett smoke)

Curveball

• reduced equip time
• reduced travel time (0.7s -> 0.55)

Run it back

• increased ult duration (10s -> 13s)
• ult can be cancelled at any time (recast)
• kills in ult now give ult charges

Cypher (buff)
Spycam

• removed tag ability
• camera is now always invisible (can still be destroyed)

Trapwire

• increased possible length of the trip

~~Cyber cage

• enemies within the Cyber cage are slowed by 10%~~

Neural theft

• increased hack time (2s -> 4s)
• now reveals opponents (similar to a Sova dart)

Chamber (nerf)

Rendezvous

• Increased cooldown (20s -> 30s)

Killjoy (buff)

Lockdown

• now takes 50% reduced damage from utility
• Lockdown center point no longer appears on enemies maps (to stop pings and wall spam)

Omen (buff)

Paranoia

• reduced cost (300g -> 250) to allow for a more comfortable pistol round buy

Astra (buff)

Astral form

• reduced cooldown of recalled stars (25s -> 15s)

Sova (buff)

~~Owl drone

• increased movement speed (can now clear as much space as pre nerf)

Kay/O (nerf)

Zero/point

• no longer reveals which enemy agents were suppressed (instead showing a counter)~~

When thinking about balance people need to think about these things:

Why is Chamber picked? Because people like his guns and TP.

Why are Cypher and Killjoy NOT picked? Because chamber does their job just as well.

Nerfing his trips is the change that works best for everybody, now chamber players can still enjoy the attractive parts of the agent, while Cypher and Killjoy players aren't completely overshadowed.

And to address the whole "chamber is a sentinel" thing, Riot has stated that there is more than just 1 type of sentinel. there are setup sentinels like Cypher and Killjoy, who hold space through place-able gadgets, reactive sentinels like Sage, who hold space with slows and reactive abilities, and force-based Sentinels, who are particularly strong opponents when they are within their setups, IE chamber.

This is why his trademark nerf is a good change, pro teams and ranked players alike now have to make a decision when picking a sentinel; do we want more firepower with lesser flank watching and push stopping in chamber? or do we want an agent who has less firepower, but is better at holding flanks and stopping pushes? Before the nerf, chamber was best at both.
