What makes DRX significantly better in Korea compared to international tournaments? Their executes seem to be world class in Korea, but whenever they play in international tournaments, they lose by the slimmest of margins every time.

It’s not that Astra was being played, it’s who was playing Astra for me. BuZz just didn’t look comfortable on the agent, especially on Split
When did I say that was the only reason? Obviously none of us have any clue what is actually happening behind the scene, but BuZz’s Chamber and Killjoy were both incredibly good pre-Reykjavik and they threw that completely out the window
I don’t understand why there aren’t any other Korean super teams because you have players like Sylvan and Lakia who seem like they can perfect most Korean teams.

yea but its not enough for healthy competiton and to compete in international level where the playerbases are 1 mil +
yeah but how are you gonna argue talent pool is the issue when 2/5 of JP playoffs talent are korean imports?
The talent pool is great for the amt of playerbase but I dont think its enough for more than 3 Tier 1 teams. NA and EU have atleast 5 Tier 1 teams that can perform. Korea has 2 (I think now it will be 3) but the fact is that 1 slot doesnt allow the talent to grow because Riot decides slots based on playerbase
"All other regions are multiple countries" yes but they are merged as one region unlike korea.
dud i'm not even being bias it's just that player base has a big factor for competitive scene
because they get no pay cuz major korean orgs havent invested in the scene. so our best talent is in japan. even some of our best players like munchkin and harry are unsigned
they do work well internationally. but over the course of the tourney they get antistratted hard
I think that it is also kind of odd that DRX is not dominating when this initiator based meta seems to favor them.
they dont scrim korean teams, they only scrim the best of apac and china + their execs and game plan in kr isnt close to their international approach

Their main problem i think is that they don't have that deep strat book, once they get counter strated they lose
i think drx main problem is that their mental get broken easily after one match lose, this is always the pattern
