arent DRX an execute heavy team so they don't really play for lurks that much
Uh imma have to disagree with this. Even at Champs, Nats went stupid, and in playoffs he was still really good.
one of the most underrated if not the most underrated player in NA, originally picked up from the Faze squad that just was known for holding W and not lasting long. A lot of people questioned why marved as a replacement for Kaboose on NV/Optic, well now we know. Guy is probably the best smokes in NA rn
I like zander a lot but its much less his lurks/controller play that attracts me to him no less makes him good. I think people recognized how V1 got instantly better with him on it, his igling/mid round calls have actually taken a lot of the space in the current meta. The instant retakes V1 do and the double intiator(no sova) on some maps were really impressive/influential. I think that's a joke because Maxim made the call to force against C9 on fracture. Maybe it's true tho, I'm not sure. At the same time, yeah he's a great aimer and a really good player. Marved is also incredible ofc, I'm just throwing out names who could compete. Skuba was pretty fantastic as well.

Marved's performance was great but it really isn't comparable to nAts Masters 3 performance, he was on a different level during that entire event.
performance isnt equal to lurks specifically. marved lurks are single handedly winning maps like ascent kru vs og
Yes, and nAts was winning entire maps both through impact of lurks and straight fragging - there's a reason why every team in EU after Masters 3 were forced to prepare against nAts lurks and in turn pushed Gambit to make big changes.
