I didn't say fnatic is the best in the world. I'm saying the mentality players come in with to LANs is that they can beat anyone.
that's one way to look at it.
I think it's more than just beating the teams, though.
playing longer, harder group matches means you show more strats/tactics, which can hurt your playoff performance.
Is seeding even important when it's a 12 team tournament, they're probably just gonna fucking random draw group stage like the play ins for apac.

teams that qualify for masters gets the same points(minimal points they can get), the points they get depends on masters performance
10k prolly doesn't matter to fnatic players
but seeding 100% matters... i didn't even get to watch the first 12 rounds but I don't think they;'d have thrown on purpose.
i will agree, i dont think both teams were trying but i feel like fnatic SHOULD, since its much easier for fnatic to lose to cracked aimers in the lower seed rather than fpx

Tbh FPX had pretty insane read. As someone pointed out Fnatic did a lot of same stuff as against M3C and FPX were just reading them like book. They for example knew that Mistic would play A a lot alone on attack, so they pushed ANGE1 deep with OP and Shao was there as well to support. Same with vent clears because Derke likes to play there.
