what you didn't check is why this is the condition , 4 years of 10 JP players playing in VCT and region getting continuous exposure and you are comparing it to a region locked out of any growth for 4 years by Riot and that worst possible money hungry Global esports. Keep supporting such shit decisions and within few years there will be none even in immortal from India

#61

bruh even kazakh, australian and other region players have similar conditions but they played in other regions and some even got into vct and chinese teams. our players are lazy and too comfortable with their paychecks in sa. If they were hardworking and skilled they would have been in a chinese team or any sea t2 team

6 East Asia + 6 SEA.
If one get less than other, it'll cause chain reaction NA demanding to rob south america slots as well.

It is really robbery if the person that did a free trial for it does nothing with it...? The best a team with indian players ever did was get out of ascension group stage and that was also with 3 imports, even a region like japans deserves the slot more than india

There are two partner team in JP and no partner in SA, so three spots for JP is fair.

Bro jpn t2 is like one of the worse in Entire Pacific region. I agree sa in much worse but not by huge margin especially when you consider what value valorant and pc gaming hold in jpn compared to india

#38

japan got money tbh and viewership

#39

Still this is too much babysitting. India provides double the viewership to PUBGm than jpn to valorant. PUBGm has around 48 teams at their global events , still india get hardly 1 or 2 slots. It good for the game balance. This much favouritism is too much from any publisher

I mean I'm gonna be honest, none of these teams are gonna qualify for events regardless, but for the recent years, the tier 2 Indian teams have definitely been better than the tier 2 Japanese teams, so this doesn't really make sense to me as well except the fact that Japan has one of the biggest valo fanbase in the world

#34

The way riot are doing things this year in Pacific. The competition is gonna die. Already fked up sea with what they did and now 3 direct slot to jpn in cups and kickoff is definitely too much

Only indian org you had in franchise didnt even had indian players for 2 years straight and you expect that org to stay in franchise when they dont even get indian players trialing for their spot
But yeah keep the delusional talk coming

Made Harbor, Lotus, give GE partnership, direct slot to Ascension 2023-25. And you still said Riot didn't do anything for SA sence.
Nobody prevented SA develop. Simply they don't have the internal capacity to develop themselves. That's it.

Nope. Make a local agent and local map is also a way for Riot to attract players from that agent and map's own country. Sage, Iso, and Hush, along with the Summit released were all moves aimed at attracting Chinese players to Valorant. Meanwhile, the direct qualification slots for VCT CN teams at Masters and Champions were intended to encourage Chinese players and organizations to invest in Valorant esports.

Riot has done the same for India too. Harbor, Lotus, GE had partnership, SA had direct slot to Ascension. And result? No Indian could play in Pacific. No Indian won any Ascension. Should blame themselves, from the players to organizations like GE, for lacking the skill and dedication needed to develop Valorant esports for their own community. They keep complaining that Riot is holding India back, when in reality, India itself simply lacks the strength to develop its local Valorant esports scene.

After all this time, Riot has finally realized that India isn't really worth the effort of milking for money. So instead of wasting time and money on India, focusing on KR/JP, and emerging markets like Vietnam would still yield better returns.

bruh 2 teams in the LCQ is the best chance INDIA has ever gotten in VCT except GE. and I can hella gaurantuee that neither in the Kickoff neither in any cups INDIA is gonna go. even the goat SkRossi tweeted the same thing that "if india dosent put up work then we are doomed"
