, whom they lost to 2-0, but won 2-1 this time around thanks to a much stronger-looking Summit.
Now, LOUD is looking to lift its first international trophy since the aspas , saadhak , and Sacy -led team lifted the Champions İstanbul trophy in 2022.
Vitality stuck with its perma ban of Sunset, which is arguably LOUD's second-strongest map, while LOUD banned Ascent for the third straight map. That opened the door for Vitality to pick Lotus and LOUD to pick Summit, followed by VIT banning Abyss, LOUD banning Split, and Haven being the decider map. Vitality won Lotus 13-8, LOUD won Summit 13-5, and LOUD won Haven 13-11.
The first map of the series, Lotus, was one that both teams had shied away from in recent weeks, with Vitality avoiding the map through all of Champs and LOUD playing it just once, in its 2-0 win over

. VIT flexed some behind-the-scenes work heading into this series, picking a comp that nearly mirrored LOUD's, with an Omen-Viper double-Controller pairing with Fade, Chamber, and each team's Duelist of choice —

, who was set to make his first-ever appearance on Chamber.
Throughout the entirety of the map, Vitality just seemed a step ahead at all times, whether it be a well-timed PROFEK From the Shadows to support a fast rotation, a capitalization on a LOUD overheat, or one of the stars shining. Chronicle , Jamppi , and Sayonara each had a 4K on the map, helping Vitality piece together a dominant defense side after a 6-6 attacker side.
Everywhere that LOUD went, it looked like Vitality had an answer on Lotus. Just two rounds were dropped on defense by Vitality, with both pistols and bonus rounds claimed with relative ease as part of a 13-8 win that started close and ended with the European superteam cruising.
One of three Jamppi 1v1 wins on Lotus. On Summit, both teams rolled out the same comps they used in their matchups in the group stage. While LOUD went with its Sage-Chamber double-Sentinel that has given several teams fits at this event, Vitality stuck with its Phoenix-Neon double-Duelist with Chronicle on Neon.
The map began with a wrench thrown into the engine. After Vitality won another pistol and bonus round, a 30-minute tech pause was called, with that round eventually rolled back due to complications with lukxo 's setup.
"During today's match, a LOUD player experienced an in-game freeze that interrupted their view of play during an engagement," Riot said in a statement. "Tournament officials reviewed the disruption and its competitive impact before determining that the affected round should be replayed. That review contributed to the length of the pause."
Controversy aside, LOUD rolled forward, dropping just two rounds over the next nine en route to a 7-5 attacker side. LOUD then won its first pistol round of the series and shut out the half to claim the map 13-5.
lukxo with four of his flashier kills from his total of 26 to end Summit.Haven followed, with Vitality opting for a more unique Yoru-Neon comp with Astra as the lone Controller, while LOUD went for a more retro Omen-Viper, double-Controller comp. Once again, Vitality won the opening pistol on attack, and parlayed that early advantage into a bonus round win, and further to get up 4-0 early. However, LOUD quickly re-stabilized its play, leaning on lukxo's Operator to set up what ended up being a strong defensive side, dropping just one round to enter halftime up 7-5.
Vitality again leaned on its pistol round to start the second half, winning its fifth of the series to end the series up 5-1. The EMEA Squad won five of the first six rounds on its own defender side to reach double digits first, but the tide turned once again. LOUD, behind lukxo and erde once again, won five straight rounds to hit map point. Vitality clawed back a round to make the score a narrow 12-11, but a mix of misdirection and near-unbreakable crossfires on the B Site shut down any possibility of overtime in the second installment of this matchup.
LOUD shuts the door on Vitality.lukxo, who entered this match having the highest rating, had yet another superb showing, dropping series-high marks with 64 kills and a 1.32 rating. In-game leader erde, who continues to impress in his rookie campaign, was a close second with 54 kills, while Darker had what Vitality head coach PAL even described as a proper bounce-back performance with 48 kills. On the other side of the stage, Sayonara and Jamppi's 48 and 47-kill performances ended up being not enough in the losing effort.
From the Press Room
erde on the main factor behind LOUD's play: "I think it's confidence. When you're confident that that's where you're going, and you're confident in every place, you can do things that you don't expect sometimes. I would say it's confidence and really good comps. We have really good comps."
DaviH on the Grand Final and what he remembers from LOUD's 2022 run: "I wanted to be there. It's like a dream to play here. I don't think too much about what they did or what they do; we focus on ourselves now. It's our opportunity to do what they did in the past, and they are... not idols, but they are the ones who motivate us as well to be here today."
VIT head coach PAL on the team's expectations: "We've spoken amongst ourselves. We acknowledge that top three is fantastic. Let's be honest, especially given some of the positions we've put ourselves in throughout this year. We're proud of that already, but now it's about really going and making sure that we come out happy with the way that we've performed this weekend."
VIT Jamppi: "Today we go sauna with the team, and we forget about this game, and we go tomorrow to play whatever team it is."
