Since 2023 it goes: Keiko, Enzo, Mistic, Kamo, Patitek, Kamyk, Serial, Penny, Trexx, Wayne, Miniboo, Purp0, Kicks, GSR.
- Keiko was the best player in EMEA T2, but still wasn't proven. (just like Kaajak)
- Enzo & Mistic were (as sad as it is to say) washed T1 players. And were just picked up as a core with Keiko.
- Kamo was absolutely mid on KOI. (0.95, 0.91, 1.03) There was no reason to get him, genuinely. Inconsistent asf.
- Patitek hadn't played pro play in 5 months. So they got him because he was for free & had a lot of T1 & Int experience.
- Kamyk was one of the best T2 players in france & ascension and Liquid threw him in the trash. Even tho he was good on TL.
- They signed Serial when Serial playing insane but he was a 1:1 to nAts' role, so he had to play off role.
- Penny was probably picked up because he was frying in T2 at the time and lived in Canada, So he played as a sub.
- Trexx hadn't played pro play in 4 months. Got kicked, Came back, and plays decent still not as good as he used to.
- Wayne was a talented T2 APAC player, but had to play in another region and move away from family...
- Miniboo was actually alright on Liquid, but there was a reason he was kicked from TH. (Easily their worst player)
- Purp0 has been a mid player in general ever since 2022, but he definitely deserved that spot on the champs roster though.
- Kicks is just a mid player aswell. Idk why they got him tbh, maybe because he had T1 experience and was a free agent?
- GSR is roughly the same as Keiko, T2 player who is really good, but don't know if he'll be as good in T1.
Basically Team Liquid went for either: Mid T1 players (Kamo, Kicks, Purp0), Washed up T1 players (Trexx, Miniboo, Patitek, Mistic, Enzo), Talented T2 players (Keiko, GSR, Kamyk, Serial, Wayne), And Penny. Not once did they go for a top top T1 player. They genuinely did go for budget squads.
