I have noticed that a lot of Paper Rex fans call the players by their real names rather than their IGN. What if all of us did the same thing to our favourite players?

i dont think this blame falls on SOLELY the fans. the players themselves and paper rex media team heavily marketed their players that way, and i'm sure it's some sort of branding strategy they have to prepare them post their professional career. to draw a comparison, i dont really see SEN players being depicted with their real name in vlogs as often as prx does (for example, johnqt is often called john instead of amine, zekken called zekken instead of zach, etc)
so like yes you can say it's weird or whatever but i think the way the team went around how to market their players should also be considered
