I wasn’t really talking about only winning, just as a whole. Kaajak was one of the best Emea duelists after kickoff. There were a few other breakout rookies and a lot of teams bringing on rookies compared to this year
really? some of the most interesting teams of the year are rookies. BBL is made up entirely of rookies and FUT is mostly rookies as well. we also have teams like GE, M8, and VIT with sayonara

idk why but calling Brawk Skuba Mada rookies feels weird to me cuz they were in NA tier 1 throughout 2022. international rookies? yes. not tier 1 rookies though
i feel like it’s really hard to document who would be a rookie pre-franchise due to how open the circuit was so i kinda just put it down to internationals
for example i considered tuyz a rookie in 2023 but not cauanzin because he made reykjavik 22 with NIP
i completely agree with your characterisation but i prefer to call them rookies because it makes our win look more impressive
