EWC is so rigged

I am not a hater of either 100T or TH but it's feels like those who suffer from winning in VCT but deserves to win are the one who win EWC ... Like last year TH were the one who always deserve to win being the consistent 2nd placers of main VCT events... they won EWC. Even in case of CS2 the deserving Asian team "Mongolz", the one's who deserved it (when senzu was on their team) won the match. This time 100T who are also kinda deserving and well loved team of US close to winning the EWC. I don't love to label something rigged but it's just too many coincidences

EWC would much rather have 2 really popular teams in the final, even if they don't deserve, purely for viewership. They do not care about feel good stories

all those teams simply put are momentum based teams that benefit from single elim even the Mongolz probably it isn't too many coincidences u are looking WAY too much into it

single elim allows the teams who are "deserving" but never win basically 2nd/3rd or 5/6th place finishers or in 100t's case basically never even go to lans to get a upset on a better team and win with momentum and some luck with double elim it is highly unlikely that the best team with 2 chances doesnt make it to the final and win baring a group stage upset or a very rare double upset
