It'll be interesting seeing some teams in VCT cook up some weird comps on this shitty ass map.
Omen is really dominant on this map, i dont know why someone would use astra unless they are really util focused, which in this meta is not happening
a lot of tight spaces so the paranoia is harder to find value with the sight range nerf and astra wall is so good on this map
Not really his paranoia works really well to clear right hand side of site on B and also the wallbangable boxes on A or even blind site from main
His smokes are really good for quick one ways in atk/def mid and defending sites for A and B. He can Tp into closing doors after shooting them and take space, and also tp into site with safe places and crosses.
This map is very default heavy, so rounds will be extremely slow and having regenerative smokes as well as not using ur other parts of util for execs/postplant is valuable.
Astra does not provide too much util for long rounds so we will definitely see more omen than astra.
Speaking from personal experience, not a pro
Dambi's Neon, Marteen's Phoenix, Aspas' Jett op, Cryo's Chamber, Forsaken's dynamic Omen.. if played by them, should all be pretty fun to see on Summit.
Wish we can see some creative cool shit like Grimm's Sage wall set ups and other cool set up plays too, etc.
from my personal experience, jett yes, waylay yes, neon yes, raze no (not enough space to satchel, both a and b site very small for it).
You never know. Some random Chinese team might invent some crazy shit with it.
def not a raze map, rest will get played even if its not much at all like i dont like we'll see much of vyse or phoenix but they'll def be played at least once in each region.
Well thats the fun part. Every region will have their own versions of meta, and it can also be slightly different for some teams within those regions.
Perfect lineup coming from a Silver 2 player with 100% WR in Summit this act:
First Duelist - Iso (no movement, just wait)
Second Duelist - Phoenix (can heal himself and flash allies... i mean enemies)
Initiator - Skye (healing)
Sentinel - Sage (healing pro max)
Controller - Miks (healing pro max ultra, can give iso movement it needs)
Pretty sure the devs made this map for Ranked and going to remove it from the pool after Champs. This map is actually terribly made lmfao.
i hope teams does different stuffs instead of the boring double duelist - omen - recon - senti
i'd be fine if the double duelist is something unique like iso
