Everyone should oppose to a real delete, that open a precedent for anyone that can see their fav agent disappeared. Viper is narratively one of the best char in a competitive video game by far, I would be mad to see her deleted because the kit not fit.
But viper isnt a character that shouldnt exist, Neon is.
It doesnt make sense for a character in a FPS shooter to simply RUN FASTER than all the other characters, and her Ult is her literally having a fuily accurate lazer while running. The dev's looked at it and thought yeah that should be allowed in a FPS game
You can make an argument that XXX shouldnt exist in an FPS game, I could make a whole argument while Deadlock is the agent that should exist the less. But you miss the point there.
My point is that, people bound with char, love one, and nobody want their fav char disappear, if the kit is a problem, rework the kit, dont delete the agent, I would persdonally rework every agent release after Neon because they are all problematic in a sense
Bro its an ultimate, its not meant to be fair, like brim ultimate is literally just a point and click nuke. Also how are we complaining about neon when she's been balanced well for once.
Brim ult is a one and done, 8 orbs needed and you still have to think about where youre ulting
Neon ult is a running fully accurate death ray, youre actively breaking the game with this character
Neon doesn't fit in this game at all IMO but a lot of people would complain
i dont see what the issue is with the faster sprint speed it actually gives her a fun unique mechanic for faster rotates and stuff
the issue is the slide and in particular the mid-slide accuracy it's just completely uninteractive from the other person's perspective unless you hit a 1% insane shot (you wont) and goes against what riot wanna do with the movement and gunfight mechanics they've pushed all along. of course this is the 1 part of neon they havent nerfed :D
imo the slide is what really gets people tilted the regular sprinting around the map who cares
the slide is stupid yes but the speed is the issue with her. its removes possible timings cuz shes just faster. and not faster in a skillful way like raze satchels, she just runs faster its horribly uncreative and dumb
side note, would not be surprised if they ever released an agent that could fly
nah they would have to do significant overhauls to every map and that's way too much work for Riot. They're just going to release boring copy + paste agents from now on because it's easier and safer than doing anything interesting, lest they risk releasing another abomination like Neon.
