Last year Champs winner got grouped at london except keiko everyone's washed now. PRX got Owned 2x in grandfinals(one gf with map ban advantage)

kickoff was freaky neon judge meta with 4 surprise first seeds (na furia, pcf after getting bought out by bbl, nongshim after winning ascension, all gamers) as well as mibr (with aspas and zekken) losing 3 qualifying matches in triple elim
santiago was just neon go brr, surprisingly ns had the best neon so they kinda dominated (also chokerx returned)
stage 1 was mostly neon again, cn returned to normal (1.5 team region with edg and xlg), emea was pretty normal except for th winning a grand final, and amer was mostly normal except for envy and c9 both upsetting mibr in groups (who then went on to lose another qualifying game in playoffs), while pacific saw geng going out 11-12 and fs (talon 2) and ge both making london with some shaky opponents (slight cope but anyone could tell you they werent the best out there) and prx lb run into winning gf
london was kinda interesting, vit (after barely making emea playoffs into a second seed) and lev dominated swiss while nrg got elimed by fut and xlg squeaked through groups. also drg, fs, and ge were all shit (which wasnt surprising to anyone with a functioning brain and eyes who watched stage 1). g2 gets first draw and their players were so excited to pick xlg to then lose to them and go out 0-2. china guaranteed top 3 with xlg vs edg ubsf while th flopped, lev makes lower bracket run after losing to prx in their first playoffs game to win it out in the gf (and chokerx returned after being very dominant for every game except the gf)
