b-but how can that be when you have the most teams in playoffs and the first region to go out?
EMEA has a 3 year Masters win drought (last win - FNC Masters Tokyo'23) and their only championship team(Acend'21) collapsed in a few months.
Vitality was their best chance this tournament (FUT wasn't going to be Top 4, let's be real) and they lost to a bunch of rookies, keeping aside the fact that NRG won champs last year with a bunch of rookies.
(NRG was not in form since they exhausted themselves and G2 was only gonna continue their top 4 consistent performance for so long --> Its good NRG lost so they could recover, but G2 needs to sort out their stuff because someone will take their place [NA isn’t top heavy])
EMEA is better than NA? Cap, make it make sense

The reason i brought it up because whilst i dont doubt FUT's capability and firepower as a team, i dont think they would be as consistent as teams like NRG or G2 internationally, altho i admit G2 is in trouble to figure out themselves (Either they win or they split up)

Clearly you don't seem to understand how hard it is to keep being in form as an esports team. This current NRG roster has been top 3 minimum ever since winning champs. These guys haven't had a break until now, personally im kinda glad they lost because they need the break to recover and get back in form.
I would love to see FUT appear internationally more, its not always we see a dark horse upset team. But just beating two teams that arent in form at all, and losing to Vitality and EDG (who were in form during v FUT matches) is not one fluke away from being called world champion lol
Im not using just trophies to determine their strength, but it is one of multiple indicators that demonstrate consistent performances in a region. I respect the hell out of players like Derke, Chronicle, Nats, Alfa etc, but despite the talent that exists in EMEA (Sopp for e.g.) I get the impresson that most EMEA teams fall short of winning it all, except FNC
I wish FUT won instead of watching VIT sleeping yesterday
