FNC is the best team right now, but this is zero-aura fan behaviorâŚ
A true aura and dominant team would have won for which ever map pool (PRX is shit on ascent ik).
Just move on already, they are already winning now and looking real good.
Donât need to make excuses for the past.
If you are right, donât waste time proving it to everyone.
If you are wrong, donât waste time pretending to be right.
either way why waste time, just enjoy the games and get out
all these pointless fighting-with-ghost in your head argumentsâŚ
PRX won Toronto because they were better then (even if its marginal).
FNC beats PRX simply because they are the better team here in EWC.
as simple as that.
surely pure luck to have beaten FNCâs methodical and systemic playstyle, surely
chilling totally, but no need the (havenât done any good prep/scrims excuse), surely they prep to some extent and kinda disrespectful to dismiss it, and donât need that weak ahhh bad scheduling/break excuse
GENG and FNC were simply better than them here clearly. And GENG has never lost to PRX this year (3 times in a row PRX lost).
they can just go next, no issue
no need excuse for them, FNC and GENG were simply better than them here, gg go next
and PRX lost to GENG 3 times in a row already this year
ggs, only bad part is that PRX did not get to played reformed TH with woot at duelist
curious how much closer it wouldâve been compared to their matchup in toronto round 1
that makes a lot of sense actually, people only talk about the mental choke, but you might be right that while Gen.Gâs mid-rounding isnât bad by any means, maybe they just fall slightly short of FNC midrounding, since they rely more on set plays etc.
agree with #4, #8, #9
EMEA â methodical and systematic.
APAC â aggressive-leaning hybrid.
NA â balanced; less methodical than EMEA (except maybe G2), but also less aggressive than APAC. Hyped individual stars/heroes momentum based.
CN â I guess closest to APAC style and more towards aggressive? Not too sure how to define. Not an insult (zero intention) but I think they are just playing valorant.
define from your perspective (general outlook of the region) and upvote those that make the most sense to you.
I think EMEA and APAC have the most distinctive playstyle, so in particular Iâd like to see more of how most people would define NA/CN playstyles.
no right or wrong, just how you feel, can define all 4 regions in an insulting manner too (just for creative fun-ness).
EMEA is close too, but kinda more for APAC since FNC basically gaps everyone in EMEA.
One bad thing I observe is that ânewâ APAC internationals team that qualified from the âtoughâ road might not necessarily perform well in internationals since they are not experienced/used to other playstyles (especially slow-ones from EMEA), they are just very used to fighting the aggressive playstyles in APAC, but I guess that could also be recency bias from observing how poorly RRQ performedâŚ
I mean it also took some time for PRX to adapt, even with their own distinctive playstyle
thats good to hear, donât want the team to suddenly just fell out of form, at least its perfectly acceptable if they just simply got outclassed
canon for sure since the good teams are playing with high prize pool, but winning-wise its just a good bonus thing to have, not too big of a deal but also not too mickey mouse of a deal either. definitely count tho imo.
And damn is TH back with woot on duelist?! Missed map 1 too
was it tho :( from scoreline it looked like prx got rolled, will watch the highlights
Missed PRX FNC today, gonna watch highlights later but was it a masterclass from FNC or PRX played badly or both?
I genuinely think this roster is due for a win, just a matter of when.
my W streamer potential is always capped by his team đ
I think it will be very close like the finals, FNC is really good at holding aggressions and PRX also knows that FNC plays very slow, so their aggression level will also be adjusted differently.
Prob a banger if both teams do make it into semis tho
he answered that question during one of prx ewc games, he said prx, and nrg can take 2nd place.
but afterwards he also jokingly said that if nrg wins, they would be the only team to win 3 majors within 12 months (SOOP, SEN CITY, EWC)
exactly nobody wants to watch regional matches, so just skip the emea games tomorrow since they air at the same time, just watch NA vs APAC games, and then semis you will get the emea games with 100% no regional matchups, perfect isnât it?
seems fine, guaranteed 2 emea teams in the semis and you wonât get same regions facing off onwards (at least until finals), if fnc got geng then that is truly rigged
any other draws and you might potentially get an emea vs emea in semis which would be boring for viewers
honestly hope both teams plays well and gain some good energy from each other
btw you canât renounce your singaporean citizenship too if you have outstanding military service to do, and you have to be 21 y.o. and above, but 18 y.o. already mandatory to serve
mandatory to serve once youâre 18 if you are singaporean or PR (permanent resident), canât just leave to another country to avoid unless you donât plan on coming back, youâll be charged (can be jailed) if you try to dodge/when you return. connections donât do shit and you can only avoid if youâre deemed as PES F, (severe/permanent medical condition or mental illness), where youâre deemed totally unfit for any form of service including non-combat services like desk jobs/clerk. unfit for even desk jobs⌠so its not really a good look especially in some jobs interviews they will question your lack of 2 years gap and you would have to explain to them (unless you apply for private sector) â but it is also not as big of a deal as it is too.
for koreans as far as I know they just have to serve any time they want before 28 y.o.
competitiveness to drive performance, âplay shit and youâre going to be a subâ ahh
đ knnb they lost đ
imagine losing to a team called kitty nya nya đ
wonât it be a little awkward if he receives mvp while his entire team is feeling down from losing? like heâd be caught between happy/sad and thatâd just be awkward for the mvp interview no?
And he does it while igling. your point being?
The train has now reached its destination.
I donât care about walkouts, if players are walking out normally like normal person itâs entirely fine.
Benkai one was just too much since it got recommended in the youtube algorithm back then frequently so I got tired of seeing his antics, not that it matters now tho kinda a pointless convo and everyone has their own preference
once in a while is fine, but bro goes overboard tbh
just you, I honestly dw to watch all those stupid costumes walkouts anymore
I really like nats but TL & PRX match really isnât as close as people made it out to be.
1st map 12-8 comeback from TL, okay fair enough.
2nd map TL got smoked.
3rd map TL technically got smoked 12-3, but of course it did ended 14-12 (respect to TL resilience)
Banger and intense match, and on paper seems close, but it really isnât that close objectively imo? TL needs a better core
the only advantage is that they are the underdogs here and they nothing to lose, so if they play their hearts out, theres a world⌠tho I think itâs quite unlikely tbh
No offense, as a casual viewer I bet no ones gonna rmb every losses PRX had, especially against teams that are well, not that relevant right now/very different rosters.
They need the revenge, because last they played was against FNC in Tokyo and they got smoked badly and totally outclassed by FNCâs playstyle.
And yes rivalry or whatever you call it, they still need need to get their revenge, and that doesnât mean they are on bad terms or anything, FNC is just a team they never got to fight officially since that long ago, and they need to conquer their past defeat.
I just knew FNC is the final boss for PRX the moment PRX beats G2.
The only team left PRX needs to get revenge on, and probably the hardest matchup against PRXâs playstyle.
â
G2 (#1 Seed) â Revenged
â
SEN (#2 Seed) â Revenged
â
TH (#2 Seed)
â
TL (#3 Seed)
âFNC (#1 Seed)
calling it, whether lower finals or grand finals.
PRX hopefully, but doesnât matter for me, what I really want to see is PRX vs FNC. They are the only 1st seed left PRX needs to beat.
â
G2 (#1 Seed)
â
SEN (#2 Seed)
â
TH (#2 Seed)
â
TL (#3 Seed)
and now we have 1 team from each region in the top 4.
so what would be yâall region rankings for each case/each region that potentially wins it all?
Edit: especially curious if FNC wins it all, where would yâall put EMEA, since they only have 1 team here but if they win it all.
