double map ban is the dumbest thing ever. makes the grand final a waste if time to watch
Upper Team: 1 map ban
Upper Team: Choose 1st map
Lower Team: Choose 2nd map
Upper Team: Choose 3rd map
Lower Team: Choose 4th map
Upper Team: Choose 5th map
7th (the remaining map) map is not played
this way, the lower team is favored for 2 maps (Upper 3 : Lower 2). Currently with double map ban, the lower team is only favored on 1/5 maps and equally favored on 1 other (Upper 3.5 : Lower 1.5) and remember that the Upper Team has an extra prep day so they can just prep for the Lower Team's one good map in the grand final.
Riot should delete this double ban bullshit ngl it becomes incredibly predictable who will win the final because of this stupid ban advantage it doesn't matter who wins between prx vs edg because whoever wins that upper final will win the tournament 100 percent guaranteed meaning that lev or vitality has no chance to win the tournament even if they make it to the grand final from the lower bracket
