G2 aren't bad.
They just had to fight good opponents and the other teams capitalized off of them. They lost to a hot and upcoming XLG, to a dangerous FUT. All of them are very good teams, they shouldn't be clowned considering they basically won little to no pistol rounds. I'm sure they'll bounce back and win champs. Trust me on that one, this is a wake up call for G2 and they are going to dominate.
they got a 4th, and an 8th so far. last year they got 2nd, 4th, and 8th. you know that only means one thing.. either g2 get 2nd or 1st LETS GOOOOOOOO
And that's the problem with g2 unfortunately. They get too used to americas playstyle & aggression, and now g2 always get caught off guard during internationals. Just unfortunate because of nerves I'm sure, it is what it is
yeah agreed. XLG has a weird playstyle and unfortunately they abused it against g2. I really do think vit would've been such a better choice because their playstyle is the type g2 COULD abuse
I mean just from eye test you can tell that shit is going wrong with their gameplans and teamplay overall

Yeah and I'm sure nerves got to them a bit. They just get too comfortable doing what they do in Americas and now they overthink everything unfortunately. Never going to change, but they still put up a good fight!
No they didn't both those teams are easily top 4 in this tournament. People say this everytime: wow SEN lost to furia in kickoff they are terrible (they were 1st in americas). Wow SEN lost to NRG last year they suck (nrg won champs). Wow PRX lost to g2 in shanghai they suck (they got top 3)
its the same narrative and those teams always outplace everyone

Nah we are bad dude I’ve had enough of the excuses how many times will we win vct na just to get sent home by some randoms every international event of this teams existence. it’s over I don’t think they will win an international event ever unless they manage to get JonahP back and have the same type of chemistry with him. I love these dudes I been watching them since TGRD but they are running out of time and im getting tired of watching the same old skit
Yeah G2 has gotta fix their shit when it comes to internationals. Always so sad and annoying trying to root for them to win when all they do is choke LMFAO. Last couple internationals, MAYBE it was justified to say how they were always in a strong side of a bracket, but this time it's just so annoying and I really am speechless
