i almost never queue anymore cus its just such a miserable experience, but its because of so many small factors i cant really think of a good solution
like how do u fix:
toxic teammates
bad maps
frustrating snowballs
throwing/wintrading/not trying
no commers
etc

don’t treate the game seriously, get a duo that plays the same way. unserious valorant is the best.
Genuinely just remove Jett Reyna Clove Sage Chamber and 50% of all toxicity MINIMUM will be gone overnight
Might be a hot take but I honestly don't think he's that bad. Maybe it's just the fact that no one plays him though
No he's not if all the r0yn0 players played him instead they might actually win their games
chamber players in my games were much more tolerable and actually pretty nice most of the time but idk how it is in really low ranks. could just be the higher you go the less annoying chamber players you get
If you remove the rest you'd simply end up with worse chamber players on average so might as well just group him in with the actually bad group
agent bans seem like a nice change for ranked, but idk if they'd implement it since valo's agent pool is still pretty small compared to LOL
yeah that's what IM SAYING there are barely enough playable agents as is thats why it would be an unfavorable change right now
firstly they would never get implemented into pro play bc otherwise teams will need to sort out multiple team comps, scrim them and figure out protocals and set plays for them which is 3x more effort and will lead to more mechanical teams having the advantage and the overall quality of valorant will decrease. While ranked is obviously not pro play it would feel off if only ranked has agent bans and pro play won't.
Also, insta locking is already very built into ranked for so many ppl, just look at how many ppl were upset with the yoru nerfs. So even if agent bans will spice things up many ppl will get more upset bc their agent is gone, especially in the lower ranks and especially if its a very good/broken agent. Imagine you main neon and finally neon gets a buff and is the best agent in ranked but then u can only play neon 30% of the time in ranked bc everyone just bans her.
But i mainly just dont think riot will do something for ranked that they wont even implement into pro play. (they asked pro coaches a while ago what they though of agent bans and the vast majority said they don't want it, pretty sure frost said it but i could be wrong).
I don't think it's any different than years back globally. Sure, meta changes and such - but the game experience itself is the same. What usually changes is a person's attention to negative stimuli, tolerance of it, and general level of interest as what once felt new begins to feel routine or like a weight. TLDR: Less the game and more the player that's changing.
Play once or twice a week but for longer hours instead of playing regularly and you will genuinely like it. That's what I do and I have fun.
