We have so many weapon, but only 1 melee, sop why not create a melee we can buy in the store ? Like this can sell more 40€ weapon since people like knife so mush

Sword :
Cost 850
Primary : 150 in the body/head (One shot everytime except in legs)
Secondary : 50, but 3 fast shot in the body (better against low life player)
High penetration so it can make damage through wall

If this is too strong (But I dont thing a melee weapon can be too strong lol), just 140 in the body and 150 in the head.

Riot can sell more skin and make money, we have more mechanics to play with than isnt OP. Thought ?

Oh definitely, for 850 it's a really bad item, shorty is way better, but the point is to make something fun rather than something OP, I have no doubt many people will still buy it despite being bad, and aurafarming with it, I feel val player rather aurafarm than win.

And yes, Riot gonna milk us really mmush, but maybe the whales are gonna pay more salary to proplayer !

If you have a way to balance it and not make it not too mush shit, what would you do ? Reduce prince (Like 400 ?)

Honestly... Dont add it cuz fundamentally in a TAC shooter having a weapon that basically says "mario jump on me"... Is even more niche than the shotguns...

Melee skins that are swords exist (soverign 2.0, oni 2.0, rgx, prelude to chaos)

That sounds like a pain to balance and is pretty pointless when there's already shotguns. Could be an idea for an agent ability like chamber q tho

It's a really really weak concept since as you said "Shotgun exist", it's just a fun weapon for thoose who want fun.

It cant be an ability because it would be too weak, at worst it can be a "passive" (Like Jett being able to slow down the fall)

Because no one would buy ever since there's basically never a time you would need an upgraded knife. The only use for it would be specifically against astra ult trying to knife through the astra wall which is a way to situational.

I didnt want to make something too OP, but we can UP this, by reducing price or slightly enhancing the range. I made it weak on purpose to be sure it doesnt break the game. Fun, weak but not harmfull for the game

The other usage is when you are full stuff

but it’ll never work even if riot somehow made it decent when there’s regular knives both right now and planned for the future that’ll look identical to the swords you’re probably imagining.

It's not really a question of "what would it look like", moe a question of gamedeisgn, maybe some sword should be raqualified as sword and not as melee

but its already too late at this point, some people bought knives like the tethered realms one, the orion sword, etc. if youre asking to replace these knives that are clearly swords into its own sword weapon like with what you want then that wouldnt be fair for the people who already bought it.

It's never too late !
For exemple for the Blade of Ruined king, it would be powssible to make it a sword and in exchange to give a free melee that is in the same theme (they are not that mush sword so it's doable)

Another solution is to rename the sword into something else

Another solution is to keep the current sword as Melee despite being sword.
