Is it just me or have valorant agents (primarily duelists) been suffering from power decay in the last couple months?
(Power decay: where new content, items,characters [or changes to existent characters) become weaker than older ones over time)

nobody tell bro about patch 11.08, that patch was specifically designed to create power decay
aint no way, I literally just got back into the game recently so I had no idea of this, this patch is actually ahh. How did they actually believe leading their game to power decay was a good idea. Game is about to end like a cheap cs copy if they dont realize they literally destroying the main selling point of their game.
basically anything that isn't jett raze KJ and recon the community will keep crying about until it's nerfed even if the agent is really healthy for a pro scene like

insert high pick rate agent here that doesn't dominate in ranked also
sometimes it's good like tejo,neon sometimes it's bad like yoru
they have over nerfed basically every single agent because people complained that the hero shooter(agent ability based fps) had too many abilities and riot if enough people complain about it riot will nerf it until it's unusable so people stop crying about it
this change was fully intended for ranked players did that help did the ranked players stop complaining about anything and everything no and as consequence of there actions neon became broken and then got deleted from the game also

Omg, but this is horrendous no? It's just and Ouroboros cycle that will never end and will make the game dull. If riot keeps on giving so much importance to the ranked opinion then Valorant could risk becoming like LoL where everyone uses the same 7 or 8 characters and there's no variability in the meta. This could genuinely kill the game no?
they have basically out right said that they make balances changes frequently and don't care about making the game balanced or varied they keep the game in a state where every single patch they make can fully flip the meta on it's head
the toronto-champs 2025 patch was perfect most agents where viable and the meta was varied and it got destroyed that is the proof
i want to say that i think these changes could've been planned for awhile it might not be the ranked streamers faults riot could've already been planning to nuke agent abilities and got streamers to rally there communities so people wouldn't complain when the patch dropped
i do like the heavier focus on gun fights but the patch was over kill hopefully they realize that
