Do pros influence which skins you like?

For example after watching primmie use the RGX vandal, whenever I pick it up in game it just feels great and I pop off

same with aemondir and Marteen

With the skin it feels like I can play like that player

The only problem is that it goes both ways

I love the ayakashi knife and I really want to get it

But the only pro I've seen use it is Boo.

I don't want to play like boo

demon1 made the blue gaia vandal look like cocaine, its unironically the biggest influence a pro player has had when it comes to skins. everyone was on that yay prime vandal gas until EG did their run

Usually a skin hits the market and everyone thinks it’s ass until a pro picks it up after a month and looks insane and everyone waits for that skin in their daily shop lol

Not really, I just use the ones that I like the sounds of, like I was using the solar stride vandal long before I saw anyone else use it even in pro play and currently I switch between that one, primordium, and gaia depending on the type of sound I want.

i use blue prelude for Less even though my favorite variant is the white with green accents
i also use his sheriff, his old ghost, the phantom he uses in ranked, and will use the karambit he uses as soon as it finally shows up in my shop
