FURIA looks even better than their kickoff form, seems like a London lock already if all goes well

MIBR seems better but still has to work out some stuff, on the right path

NRG and G2 need to watch out, they're being left behind and inconsistent but i believe they can and will still overcome it

100t and LEV are on a rise

KRU main roster seems good but needs to be tested out more

LOUD looks better than their kickoff form while C9 looks worse

SEN needs their 5th first but their first game was very worrying

ENVY and EG look very uncomfortable as a team and might need changes already

FURIA is what EG wishes to be

they can play clean simple fundamental valorant well enough at a high level which EG is struggling to do for some reason

unironically yeah Furia is EG if they had a little more budget to get Eeiu

EG has a big firepower issue, DG is the only one consistently shooting, Bao/Oke are a 50/50 and C0m/Supa are just bad

c0m and supa are two deadweights and this valorant economy can only support one deadweight most per team

and generally it can support a scoreboard deadweight only if they provide massively in terms of util, calling, or intangibles/vibes (if not all of those). this is why it's significantly more okay when boaster gets carried than it is when c0m is not calling at a high enough level to justify being deadweight or when supa is deadweight on the scoreboard while providing none of those things.

Exactly but i'd like to point out even then Boaster gets away with even more cause Crashies is also kind of a deadweight sometimes just goes to show how goated he is (but also how he becomes a liability sometimes cause if kajaak and alfajer who are the reliable fraggers on the team aren't feeling it fnatic does not work at all)

why c0m is still on a valorant roster in 2026 is beyond me

100t are lowkey just steadily rising, slightly better but playing similar style to before and just locked in doing what they do best

lev were like lost boy scouts in kickoff and now they seem to actually have a coherent idea of how they want to play maps alongside their obviously cracked aim. this is a big upgrade for them.

i would definitely put them in two different categories.

otherwise good list

good take, LEV look the most improved by far out of all the teams in week 1

Thats mainly because i didn't think Lev Kickoff results fully seriously because of the external things (off-role sub playing, 2 debuts, 2 players role swapping mid tournament) but i understand wanting to flesh out their evolution more. I just always knew they would be good eventually and think they will be even better with more time

But tbf its also mainly because both have played equally bad teams so im waiting for W2 to draw more conclusions

LEV got battered by C9 twice in kickoff who placed 5th (and much better than EG don’t let the loss fool you), so I’d say that this was a good win for LEV

Now that teams are picking up the tier 2 talent, the top half of Americas is incredibly strong to break into imo. I think even if Jerrwin is great (imo he'll do well), can anyone see a world where they are better than the obvious 3 + FUR/LEV/100T? (and LOUD if they improve even more with erde.) I think this will be another 2023 year for SEN and it's going to be hilarious to see Rob Moore and co cope about it

in theory a roster of Jerrwin - JonahP - JohnQT - Reduxx - Cortezia can be potentiallyas good 100t/LEV. But only Reduxx is really playing decently rn and the morale seems to be pretty low. Don't see them recovering for split 1 unless Jerrwin goes crazy, maybe for split 2 if they spend some time resetting
