sen played fine. they had a sub. they're still a mid team, they were mid before and they will be mid again this split. when i say mid, i mean true mid. like 5th, 6th, 7th. not making internationals, not losing to bad teams. kru, on the other hand looked really exciting and had really high firepower and i'm genuinely hyped to see them against a true top team and find out if they can cut it.
he's a pretty good player who, when in form, can be the best in the world. during some tournaments and whole previous years, especially up to 2024, he was very consistently in form, making it valid to consider him one of the greatest of all time. last year he was hot and cold but still showed that he has exceptional skill. this year, so far, he's been fairly mediocre and never fully hit his stride, meaning he certainly isn't the best in the world right now (far from it) but he surely still has it in him. his current streak of poor form in 2026 changes nothing about his prior performance, but clearly he's not playing at the highest level right now.

i've seen some people get ruined into a shell of themselves by antidepressants but i've also known people who swear it saved their lives. i personally refuse psychiatric medication (i have anxiety bpd autism and adhd, i used to be on meds for adhd but have weaned off) because i worry about losing my creativity and my sex drive and i put a lot of work into coping mechanisms and working with a therapist. then again it is great for some people.

I see the potential and absolutely want to keep supporting them but they need to make changes. I would love to see this team be competitive in the tier 2 scene and I think if they rebuilt around Sarah, Noia, and debatably dodonut (although she's on fraudwatch) - with a new caller and either calling back flor or getting some other better aimer. Old C9 white core are my favs and I would hate to see them go but they can't cut it here, MeL looks so out of her depth much of the time
because they got outcalled and made way too many silly micro mistakes, plus they're holding onto a core of players who may eventually need to be changed out so they have a full team of at least tier 2 level players.
nah srg are so bad, and i mean you can clearly see in their better rounds and maps that they can shoot like the best (especially noia, sarah, and dodonut) but they all make stupid, stupid mistakes in their micro like missing lineups and failing to coordinate at crucial moments, and mel's calling honestly gets handily outmaneuvered by basically every tier 2 igl. idk i love this team and i do still support them but they really need changes and a more solid system. i do believe the players, or at least a majority of them, are good enough to compete in at least tier 2 but this was an embarrassing showing.
so... she went positive as solo entry duelist and took by far the most first duels out of anyone in the game on pearl. just for the record.
