It is not a lack of individual skill. They currently look awful in comparison to ROSE, a team with 2 game changers players who haven't come close to matching SRG in the game changers scene. The real problem has to be a mental block - they can consistently win the pro/rel, beat teams like Winthrop etc (granted with subs), but when they actually make it to VCL they crumble.
This is not something that can be fixed by just "dropping out of GC" like people would suggest, it's deeper than that
compared to the top teams, yeah sure. but i dont believe they are this bad in comparison to teams like ROSE
Imagine paying a coach to prep their team Zikz, Anderzz, Elevated and mCE all doing super well right now, right? right??????? ... awkward.
when it comes to SRG their macro could be a lot better but tbf it is average in the challengers scene
what they really need to work on is their micro situations (which is crazy considering how long they've been a team for, maybe a rebuild or some of them joining co-op challenger teams would be better for them individually in the long term)
has nothing to do with mechanics
also their coach is not it they look much worse without effys
No one says Rose has a mental block when they constantly keep doing the same thing (going into t2 just to do nothing and get knocked out) so that logic doesn't make sense.
