Smoke like this makes it harder for defender to decide whether go stay in smoke or push out. it messes up their rhythm and makes them overthink. I don't know why these streamers jump on Default Sage but maybe its because they are jealous his posts bang but theirs not.

Someone has to hold for the heaven swing regardless, and the crosshair placement is much easier if they can only swing out to that spot on the left. And if they go back in the smoke, they have a longer distance before they're safe from spam.
With a flush smoke, there's a wider range of angles enemies can swing from, and even enough space for a double swing.
its also far harder to peek out of that smoke and fight mnain since you have to press w ro be on a rly awkward angle instead of just being able to a-d peek
