??? Cb is literally EDG's smartest player, theres no way you watched their run up to santiago. Did you make all these conclusions from their 2 games at santiago? Even chichoo this year has made far more questionable decisions than CB. Ask anyone who actually watched CN kickoff

I've been an EDG fan for 5 years lmao and 90% of my posts are ab EDG, I must respect AG for their fast improvements though its been very impressive

if you're wondering, the reason they brought in Autumn was likely because of EDG's history with a playstyle identitiy crisis. They went from coordinated PRX style, to trying to copy NRG, to fnatic, to VERY VERY slow fnatic (shanghai where they got destroyed by loud), to a mix of both (champs) - which stopped working after meta changes (yoru etc)
Autumn is quite familiar with EDG when they played that first style (PRX-ish) because he played against them quite a lot then (this is like around 2022 East Asia LCQ). This EDG actually looked very strong (could go toe to toe with top teams, like PRX who just came 2nd globally at the previous event) then but they were huge chokers, and Autumn we know to be the guy who just says 'shoot better' prob understood that he was quite fit to try and bring that EDG back (which makes sense with the CB pickup for firepower) and prioritised putting his players in positions to get kills. Now we've seen that this backfired horribly because the EDG players were making horrible solo plays like every round 💀
Atp I dont know if Autumn genuinely doesnt understand macro at the same level as most coaches do or if he chooses to ignore it, either way he needs to change his approach cause this is like the worst EDG has looked in the past 2 years internationally (regionally their corrode and bind strats were actually cooking tho tbf, maybe just need more time to work on maps, esp given language barrier). Also I don't think Nobody fundamentally understands macro either (and tries to copy it instead from others), I think signed (their new analyst) will help them a lot in this aspect, his YT channel is full of gold

cb at santiago as well was making ridiculous micro decisions like dogshit neon walls that he didnt know how to play correctly around and just general stupid fights which i feel like if you were above maybe asc1 youd be able to understand

Guess what - everyone was saying the same thing about S1mon, doubting him, roasting his performance (it was not just aim) then they fucking won champs, like give people a chance? I was one of the few people telling people to chill and why S1mon will be very good for EDG's playstyle when they first signed him. Just like I'm doing now for CB
Also 'crumble'? All of EDG crumbled, there was no structure at all. That was not a CB issue, that was a team issue and nobody doing a terrible job calling. Also prob the effect of Autumn likely telling them to play more agressive and confident. Do you really think cb was the only one? How about we talk about chichoo swinging on his own (5v3) with sentinel util still up and dying, how about Smoggy doing dumb tp plays on Omen, how about Nobody pushed up on a one-and-done angle on his own with a phantom, and init util, against a full eco.
And you act like all the neon walls he does are his own decisions, you know players are given very specific roles in very specific strats right? Ofc he's gonna look bad if their plan is to send CB in like the way Miniboo used to get used in strats. Their executes are just not good enough.

so we're just making stuff up now? Like who? Who are these supposed 'analysts' who apparently watch CN? And what exactly was Cb doing in CN Kickoff that was so troll, as if he wasn't one of the main reasons EDG even made it to Santiago in the first place with how well he was playing.
