Riot shouldnt allow Asc winning teams in their first year of franchise, if they still make to champs and retain their spot, only then they should be allowed to make changes. or they should not be able to make changes till split 1 atleast.

I am saying this to make it fair for not just the players, coach but to the org as well. Imagine putting in a lot of efforts, time and money in a team only for some other bully team to poach your player and you are clueless as to who will replace him. It would be frustrating for other players of same team, coach and org as well

Also for the players, coaches who grinded their asses of should not be allowed to be replaced.

Your opinions on this take ???

I think other rosters should be prohibited from poaching ascension players, but the ascended team themselves should be allowed to make changes if they want bc what if one of em turns out to be diddy

yeah agreed. But you cannot rob him of this opportunity, bcoz however bad the player is, he would have some contribution in helping the team ascend. (hence i said after split 1 they are allowed to make changes)

first of all, you cannot call him a liability coz he was on the asc winning team. second of all, all i am saying is, team management should deny a player of what he has rightfully earned.

Money speaks in the Esports scene... It's hard for players to not get picked up by tier 1's immediately.

2024/25 M80 and TSM is a good example. Both go to Ascension, lose (twice), and their players get picked up by tier 1's and the org crumbles. There needs to be a fix to this where orgs cannot poach players from tier 2 until X date

okay just to be clear, i am talking about teams which make it to franchise. Although the scenario u mentioned is totally valid, but i have a different perspective to that. I am not saying the team that didnt make it is shit, its just that particular day was unlucky for them. But that doesnt change the fact that players on that team are talented af. They need to picked up asap right ??? T2 is meant to be a stage for players to show theur skills and be picked up for t1.

Slots belong to the teams, Riot made it this way for financial reasons. Organizations need financial support as well theyre not charities

It was the teams that signed the players, the team can do what it wants. If the players aren't good enough to hang in t1, skill issue

we can go on and on and on about this. All i am saying is that guy should be paid, i dont care if u let him play or nahhh, but he earned it in the first place man. Imagine the state of the player when he is informed "sry, we arent keeping u anymore", its bullshit.

Also slots technically donot belong to the org but rather the team(5 players) because that particular org might not meet the criteria set by riot.

XLG has rarga and kr1stal, they let go kr1stal. Also this decision was conveyed to kr1stal even before they won asc
