I wouldnt say most are rookies, its just xross(18), but francis, ivy and dambi are all 19 I think. Either way they have a bright future

It's their first time at an international, which frequently leads to underperformance
is there actually a stat that strongly correlates unexperience and underperformance at internationals ? (excluding china for obvious reasons)
TL had 2 rookies (purp0, wayne) and got grouped
FUR had 3 rookies (koalanoob, nerve, alym) and placed 7/8
M8 had 3 rookies (Minny, bipo, GLYPH) and placed 7/8
BBL had 5 rookies and placed 5/6
theoretically, including CN teams
XLG - Grouped, 2 rookies (Lysoar, happywei & Rarga the only non-rookies)
EDG - Grouped, 1 rookie (cb)
AG - 7/8, 5 rookies
you got your placements wrong + I'm asking for more than this tourney. Also placements are not enough to define underperformance

if they weren't underperforming, then why did many of them go out so early?
Statistics need more than 1 occurence to be relevant + liquid didn't underperform + M8 is very debatable, BBL is debatable as well. That's why i would like a wider view on it because it's genuinely interesting topic but I'm too lazy to do it

International rookies but not actual rookies except for xross. Also ns has been in such situations in past lol. Ascension bo5 grand final against boom I would say had as much pressure as this.

Yeah ascension got more pressure ngl. You are either playing tier 2 or tier 1, stakes are more on Ascension
I mean losing Ascension means you don't get into tier 1 at all and they probably would have disbanded if they didn't make it. And pretty sure they had no idea about bleed situation.
