https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=O9Ewsw5Xdao this seems cool bro
basically the tier 2 scene might explode because the government recognises esports -> facilities being built for it -> proper training being given
like most of the video just shows motiv playing lotus LMAO

bro the only reason sg is so advanced rn its all thanks to their leader LKY he singlehandedly transformed Singapore from a poor and hopeless island into a developed country is something extraordinary.

Nah he single handedly did not transform. Their then economist and the PAP co founder also played a huge role in its transformation

Man, younger gen is so lucky they can choose gaming as a career.

as someone in the younger generation it’s still largely socially discouraged
maybe if you’re legit goated with the sauce from a young age or something but unless youre really desperate with no other options most people/parents dont see it as viable

nah just because korea is an esports powerhouse doesn’t mean most families want their children to pursue it

as looked down upon aka it’s better than other countries, not that it is good

gaming as a career wouldn't be ideal with how volatile esports is (especially in valorant)

Bro if you think gaming can be a career, you don’t know what you’re talking about

Gaming isnt for everyone, for me pro player it's only for the Rich cuz If you dont make it at least you still have savings to move to another opportunity

I'm not saying it's easy, I'm saying it's an option now. Back then it just wasn't. If your pro career doesn't pan out you can pivot to streaming or content creation. All I'm saying is they got options now.

i mean yeah its an option now and people are definitely more open to it than before, but its still not a realistic path for most people, its a super risky path
