Jemkin rage snitching the whole pacific league after losing 3 bo5 or Aspas baiting and statpadding in the whole 3 bo5
Aspas baiting since before he even was on mibr
He is insane mechanically but his playstyle is too self centered for a true duelist player
Jemkin exposing mismanagement is not snitching, but he did it very unprofessionally
nah, exposing mismanagement is alright, no more mr. nice guy
but exposing players smoking in the toilet is not for public consumption
well the management was unprofessional too so its ok ( idk why people are calling it snitching)
Can you explain how to expose them "professionally"? Should he have written a twitlong? Or run a press release?
Maybe take it to riot tournament admins and lodge a formal complaint? And if that doesn’t work make a joint statement with your org and your team backing it so that it doesn’t look like you are being petty and impulsive. Only when you have exhausted the proper channels should you ever think about just blurting out revelations without any thought behind it.
Given riots track record of not giving a fuck I dont think writing a formal complaint would solve the issue. They literally had multiple pros complaining for a long time for them to do something with their PCs. This issue needed attention and this might have been the only way, idk
Lazy excuse, at least try the proper channels first so you can say the methods in the end were justified
If Jemkin tried to address this issue privately and it didn’t work out he is entirely justified in ranting about it in a press conference, otherwise it just comes off as petty whining even if the subject matter is valid.
i mean i side with jemking here, but i think professionally refers to what sliggy did; he noticed a pro tilting headphones weirdly (? possibly to hear kr casters as mentioned) and he directly reported it to riot without taking a single name or giving hints
he said it as it is in a press conference, what is unprofessional about it? even the way he said it wasn't particularly offensive despite how annoyed he was
You don’t name drop teams and players when reporting issues. Basic courtesy, especially if the situation requires clarification from both parties or is just a one sided statement like this. Issues should always be resolved privately if possible, there is zero benefit to blowing it out into the public eye.
You don’t name drop teams and players when reporting issues. Basic courtesy,
his issue is more with management not the teams, if management is selectively enforcing rules who is he supposed to take that up with? you can't really expect him to walk up to a riot employee and go "I saw T1 smoking in the bathroom, why don't you punish them?"
honestly I think your ideal of "professionalism" is the reason teams and management can get away with these things, if he says "there's a team that was smoking and didn't get punished" it barely gets traction and no one is getting held accountable for anything. if the teams think they were misunderstood they can release an official statement easily
Yes I can? You are a professional player. This is a job not a fun get together. If you think ranting in a press conference about every single issue you have in the league after a loss is professional behavior idk what to tell you. It just comes off as impulsive and childish.
It doesn't matter if it is true, there is a due process for the reporting of any issue in any organization. Venting in public like a whining child should ALWAYS be the last option. Why should the accused and involved teams be forced to confront possibly false accusations or misunderstood situations that hurt their organization's reputation and their personal reputation?
Listen, if you have an issue, the right approach in any workplace everywhere is always to go to HR first and report it. "my HR department is incompetent so I will just blast my issues publicly" is probably the worst possible option.
And keep in mind, you can literally go public later at ANY TIME if the management doesn't do their job, but this is a last case scenario. Try reporting the issue to the people who's jobs are to handle these situations first, there is literally ZERO disadvantages in doing so.
Bro said the s word without a pass, I don't think we need your useless opinion here unfortunately
Actually, scratch that, you are not even my bro, you are a simpleton who hates nAts 🗿
