Any china team except EDG is auto win. You have to be one of the worst teams oat in order to lose against XLG and NRG is quite the opposite

Maybe I should clarify that NRG will beat XLG but their following 2 matches are dodgy. I don't see them grabbing a clean 2 - 0 unless there are a few upsets in the other matches and a lucky draw in Round 2.

My take is G2 looks great because they're in NA. They won mostly because of the aggresive strat/comps and individual outplays (they keep saying we should play like PRX), but that's just another Tuesday in APAC. Just like BBL in EMEA, I think it's hard to measure their international value based on a regional performance in a region that aren't used to aggression.

While that's probably true, I just think G2 are due for an international event win. They have plenty of experience that only EDG from China, PRX from Pacific, and no one from EMEA can rival at this tournament.

That's one of the better argument for G2 winning. I'm just trying to temper the fans hyping their new playstyle (I'm hyped too, I love Babybay on 2nd duelist). If anything, G2 did look best at the start of the year, and mostly because of their grasp of the meta. The current meta tho is the most free meta (double ini, double duelists, double smokes, wtv) so let's see how every team holds up internationally.

Despite how much I want prx to get past groups theyll probably go out 1-2
Not a single Chinese team will make it out of groups, and AG wins 1 game MAX
BOTH emea teams make it out of groups (absolutely insane)
Adding on to 3, G2 and T1 make it out. Leaving PRX, NRG, XLG, and EDG in the dust.

Wouldn't a T1 G2 rematch be insane...
