Good to see Yoru finally being a meta pick but with his pick rate in VCT, surely Riot will see an opportunity to nerf him to balance out the duelists?

the duelist meta is chilling and they are at healthy power levels just buff flash inti non flash utility so they can compete with yoru TP up time and senti fixes lowk
You realise then it just becomes yoru + flash ini instead of recon ini because 4 good flashes better than 1 recon or drone because SENTINELS arent an issue
nope with a flash inti with good uptime its chamber/veto + hard entry and other double duel comps get picked yoru isn't good on solo entry when you can run waylay,neon,raze
4 flashes isn't better than one recon dart let alone a entire recon agent flashes in pro play are HEAVILY overrated not even to mention both recon agents have almost perfect kits
and that still doesn't matter cause yoru regardless takes up the flash inti spot in a team comp cause he sucks on solo entry if flash inti's get buffed he loses play time cause 1-more chamber comps 2- more solo duel comps he is a bottom tier solo entry 1-waylay 2-neon/raze 3-jett 4-yoru
Not really, it allows you to have good flashes without playing yoru. But yes it favors the 4-1 playstyle that you can play yoru with

imo the only changes needed are some sentinel buffs, tho im not sure exatly what those would be. And a slight nerf to how quickly his tp activates. his TP shouldnt be able to be a dive entry/escape tool, it should be repositioning tool solely

we do NOT want to make him F tier by any means
he is extremely powerful tho so he should be slightly tuned, but the main focus should be on buffing other agents, like reverting the raze satchel nerf or giving jett back a 2nd updraft
the problem isn't other duelist power levels its alternatives to yoru senti/flash inti/awper chamber is already strong flash inti buffs plus senti = regular comps viable yoru is less strong boom if that doesnt work
the other duelists already clear yoru in solo duelist comps
just get rid of his 2nd tp, and make him have 1 tp with a faster cd maybe. Now he's equal to all the other duelists.
now the problem with that is yoru doesn't compete with other duelists he competes with flash imitators and to put it bluntly most of them just suck. I mean breach is dead, Gekko is dead, Skye is dead and Kayo is actually fairly underrated but like yoru flashes that a pretty much as good and is better for macro in terms of rotations
i think most ppl are alright with him competing with flash init's, its just that hes overtuned where he competes with them while also being really powerful at safely holding space with the tp set down. that being said, buff gekko and skye for sure. breach being good will be terribly unhealthy for the game so i want him dead at all times, and kayo is in a fine spot like you said he just is outmatched in other functions by yoru, which i think removing the ability to aggressively hold space with the tp would bring them more in line.
hes just ridiculously annoying to play against when hes strong and not enjoyable to watch cuz all his util is staring at a wall for the most part. i dont necessarily hate him but in comparison to other flash inits he just feels like he doesnt fit in this game
hes also not been strong for a while so maybe im wrong and he would be very healthy if he gets buffed
i think you just removed the duelist from yoru and he will be back to D tier buff flash inti's and fix senti's slightly and go from there
specifically buff non flash util of flash inti's like they did with tejo

I think you underrate how effective TP is for a duelist. When you say yoru doesn't compete with other duelists I assume you are just talking about the movement champs like raze, neon, waylay, jett (even tho jett's kind of a hybrid). You then have flash duelists, phoenix, reyna (which ik is kind of a dead pick in the pro scene) but Yoru's kit crosses over with too many roles. He has the flashes (his are the most OP of the duelist), has a semi-drone/util clearer, and then TWO tps.... He also has a great ult. A tp should atp be considered a free kill, for him to get 2 chances at a free kill every round is just too OP. It's just an annoying overpowered meta to post up with a AWP to then tp to another galaxy. You should be rewarded for making a sniper miss their shot (whether it's bc you use util to clear him or he just misses), this mf yoru misses and can just instantly setup again.
I say you underrate how effective TP is for duelist bc when you think of chamber, he's played like a duelist and that's solely bc of his TP. Even Veto is kind of like a duelist except his other util incentivizes more passive playstyle. Yoru still can compete with other duelists bc his TP into site is pretty much a jett dash or even safer raze satchel. He doesn't have it bad at all
Whatever, but Yoru is so fun to watch if played correctly. Like i loved the way Jawg played it during masters Bangkok it was awesome.
Jawg 3k in bind, one A short, one B short and one B long in the span of like 20s was pure magic out of him
I think Yoru is fine rn, has maybe the higher ceiling in terms of skill but no one is hitting that constantly, and even if someone does, props to him for being THAT good
what is the skill if you get fucked by util, you press E and you are out of there?
