I understand your frustration but they just haven't watched China with how hard it is to watch all the games in every region, I'm sure they will VOD review the finals before Santiago and speak about it at some point
But its also not hard to even just go into vlr and click "events" then on VCT CN Kickoff 2026 and then go "HEY LOOK THESE TEAMS QUALIFIED"
Yeah but what's the point? You can do that yourself, might as well just wait for them to have watched it first so they know what they're talking about when they discuss it
I remember seeing TMV watching Wolves games ever since their good run at Masters Toronto, which also baited Sideshow and another streamer—I forgot the name—to watch along. But because they are in Europe, the matches usually happened very late at night so it takes motivation. After watching those matches every week, they would be able to talk about them on Plat Chat with Alan as a guest. However, China failed to meet high expectations; people expected at least one team to do well in Champions, just like Wolves did. Instead, the four Chinese teams only managed to win a single game at Champs Paris. So yeah, that explains why there’s no Plat Chat about China. Sliggy also said he would watch China again if the region's international results improve.

They've only done CN segments when the Chinese caster guy (i forgot his name) is able to turn up. Its a good thing that they're not attempting to talk about things they don't know about.

i guess it's a combination of timezone / not having many CN caster contacts to invite, and many of the earlier CN matches being slop
I'm sure they'll have an episode before santiago where everyone shows up having seen the 3 bo5 vods, but for now, sliggy refusing to watch CN was a big nail in the coffin
sucks because platchat is a decent way for me to catch up on regions besides americas
