when shit like this happens it’s usually because one team has more attention than the other
for full sense i guess it makes sense because primmie dropped +40 in the previous game but ppl get so caught up in stuff like that idk why
teams that represent 1 country (and not a super power country like USA/KR) are ofc gonna get overhyped. Full Sense puts thailand on the map for valo in a HUGE way so ofc when they actually look good they're gonna get hyped. BBL the same. If GE had a single indian player you could be damn sure of the same thing. Honestly it's kind of a shame because they over-hype a team with genuine potential and then it turns to hate when they cant live up to the wild expectations
I also dont think it's wild for BBL to be the favs ngl both them and m8s have looked like the clear #1 and #2 in EMEA rn (whichever order) but BBL's opponents were literally FNC and Vitality and they 2-0d em both + their duelists are playing like stars which ppl love

cypher is def weak as an agent but their def side overall on most maps seems to be strong.
Idk what makes fnc and vitality weak tho.
FNC downgraded chron (no disrespect veq) but even so they are the most experienced and well drilled EMEA team since they kept most roster + coach + IGL and are coming off b2b2b grand final appearances at internationals so they are not a weak team
Vit has a sub but it's a sub who played with the guys before and is a sub they knew they'd need so he must have prac'd a lot and they have a very strong roster overall

i mean sure you can say im hating if you want but i do like the team im just not delusional also yes fnc and vit are weak they have bad meta reads and bbl just has more firepower once vit gets sayonara it would be a strong opponent but unfake no disrespect is a ult orb.
positives for bbl is they have good midrounding and good individuals but both of those things m8s beats them on and then they also play better comps, have better macro, have a better map pool like there is no world where bbl should be favoured in this game.
bbl comps are one dimensional (double duelist - yoru +1, cypher, 1 smoke 1 scan) and esp on breeze it's a little weird ngl and their breeze attack side in particular crashed and burned vs fnc but small sample size
What are you basing the small map pool thing on? BBL have dropped 1 map overall and it was the 1st map of their tournament. m8s i guess havent dropped a map but we've literally only seen 4 of their maps (abyss split bind pearl) so im a bit confused
exactly we have seen 4 maps from each m8s haven't dropped a map against stronger opponents imo
BBL won breeze in a later series so idk to me not a super weak map. Disagree on the stronger opponents thing but as a proud navi classic owner I refuse to elaborate. I do think it'll be close tho and as a gambling man I'll put my money on it

I am watching pcf roster about 2 years and their map pool is better than any other team in emea. Pearl is their best map, and they've played Haven like 500 times on T2 (their winrate is very good, btw). They're above average on other maps too (Corrode was a bit weak perhaps, but that was a long time ago). Breeze was a question mark, but it seems they've worked on it very well. It's makes no sense to say that a new team like M8 has a better map pool than BBL. BBL has much more practice on every map.
