are you surprised? i tried getting into emea last year and it felt really weird. the way that region plays valorant is strange, but what impressed me the most is how bad the teams are. the competitiveness there is leveled by being bad, all the teams are mediocre. that explains why fnatic can always make internationals. in three years of franchising, only two teams from that region have actually done anything internationally.
the region is doomed, it won’t win anything again this year. americas and pacific are way ahead.
by how much these emea paint huffers hype up these teams I am surprised with the product they have
makes sense, right. imagine realizing your region is ass and hasn’t won anything in three years (and the only team that won in 2023 is still the only one that’s even remotely relevant internationally). let them have a bit of hope.
