Demon1 Work Ethic

I’ve been seeing a lot of people on Twitter act like “Demon1 is hard to work with / has bad work ethic” is 100% true, and I don’t get where that certainty is coming from.

From what I’ve seen, this mostly comes from Chet (ex-NRG coach) calling him out. I’m not saying Chet is lying, but it’s still one person’s opinion from a team that fell apart. Also, at the time, Chet was still trying to get another coaching job, so he had a reason to blame the players more than himself.

But the public stuff doesn’t really match that story. Demon1 still plays with old teammates (Jawgemo, Tex, Rossy, etc.), and you don’t see other players saying he’s a bad teammate. Most notably, he’s been playing with Zellsis for the past 3–4 days, and Zellsis has said good things about Demon1’s work ethic.

So did anything else come out that supports the “bad work ethic” claim? Or is it mostly people repeating Chet’s comments until it stuck?

i think the most likely situation is that he used to be a lil irresponsible and after getting cut he and maturing he developed better work ethic

Chet obviously lied to save his own ass, its clear as day demon1 was never any of that and is working hard to get back on a team

if anything he might've gotten a bit of an ego around the time eg won (i mean he did, but as far as thinking you need to keep working on your gameplay), he was young and it's understandable if that happened. chet namedropping and blaming players was weird and most people thought it wasn't a classy move, especially with the context of him getting moved off nrg. he definitely has a work ethic though, bro has been streaming comp looking for a team nonstop for a while now.

chet was probably right (he paid demon1 salary partially out of his own pocket), but demon1 also lowkey justified because his girlfriend was kinda falling apart

probably demon1 character development now and that was just an unfortunate time in his life
