TW: suicide

The previous thread where someone announced ending his life made me really think about some deep shit.
I struggled with suicide thoughts for over 3 years now and life is at an all time low right now.

If you struggle with self-destructive behavior or suicide thoughts or whatever that makes you feel like youre unworthy of love and kindness I can tell you that you deserve happiness in life.
We are all fighting this game of life together. If you have to vent or process emotions on a forum like vlr because you feel like there are no people around you that you trust then please do that.
There is nothing wrong with that. You are not a burden to anyone.

Over the last couple weeks I've seen many threads discussing mental health issues and there are a lot of people who feel hopeless on this rock.

Killing yourself is almost never the right decision, simply because it's the last decision you will ever make. I'm not here to say that all things are going to turn out perfectly for you. And it feels fake coming from me who is not in a place where I want to keep going, but thing will turn out for the better. Please talk about your struggles, cry and scream and do whatever feels right now. I encourage that everyone who relates to this thread leaves a message with things that you struggle with. This is a judgement-free zone and mental health is important.

We will go through it together and we strive to make the best out of all the shitty things that happen to us.❤️

yeah I have been struggling with bad depression and a lot of mental health issues for a while and honestly it’s nice to see how supportive everyone is on this thread - thank you OP for raising awareness and sharing your own thoughts

The only time I showed this behaviour when I was trying to to do something good for my family but then now I only have the thought being lonely which still makes it hard
But one thing I understand is that taking away your life is not the answer rather than solving the problem which brought you to this path , you’ll create 10 more problems which your family and friends have to deal with .

This is good.

The thing I've been struggling with is loneliness. I know alot of people in my life and have so many friends and have a great family but theres something thats always missing. Some kind of emptiness that just constantly stresses me out and ruins my mood. It only really goes away when i drink or smoke but then it feels like I'm a coward running away. I need therapy but I'm so busy nowadays it’s impossible.

And the whole situation with DSBY got me thinking, that in my life he is just a random dude on the internet but it still so sad to think about the fact that life can fade away so fast. This is not the first time this happened on vlr either. Suicidal ideation is a serious problem and people sideline it to attention farming when its clearly a symptom of something worse.
