whats the best sentinel on every map in rotation (not including chamber or veto) in your opinion ?

for haven, the comp has been omen, viper, kj so thats double controller meta still happening after many seasons, but we see viper senti comps still in maps like corrode (viper, cypher or vyse) and sunset (viper, cypher). Abyss we see omen harbor for example, not historically viper tho

viper is the best sentinel in the game and shes not a senti so it goes to shwo you how good she is
yeah but shes a lurker with 1 piece of push stall util i want a lurker thats prime on defense i lvoe defense
the orb + molly combo stalls longer than most senti
exception would be vyse and sage
pretty much what Senfns said, viper is one of the best anchor in the game really the only thing she lacks is passive info
kj and chamber are easily the best on most maps, but veto can outclass them 100 fold if the team knows how to play with him perfectly

veto is a ratty agent, and fights for site just like vyse or killjoy.
and chamber is a ratty agent especially WITH his awp, he can just sit in a key rotation area, hold it, get one, get out.
Using your logic, cypher ult is an initiator ability, vyse fights too aggressively to hold site to be a trad senti, sage has no passive defense and doesnt lurk so she also isnt a trad senti.
Not including Viper cuz she’s a controller despite what people say, they don’t fundamentally understand why she’s a controller even in double controller comps. Also not including chamber and veto even tho they should be included cuz u asked.
Abyss - Deadlock (best is actually Veto). Good for punishing retake gameplans which are super common on Abyss
Bind - Cypher (best is no senti, then chamber). Used to be deadlock but she’s super hard countered by Waylay which is common on Bind now.
Corrode - Vyse (best is no senti, then chamber). Good for whole map coverage on defense with Molly lineups to prevent fast rushes
Haven - KJ, good for covering B and garage + can also be used to cover C with a Molly at the choke. Turret is really strong on attack for mid info. Ult is good for retake and execs
Pearl - KJ is the only senti that can properly covers mid gaps and sites with her mollies
Split - Cypher (best is no senti). Good info on a lurk heavy map
Sunset - Double senti comps are the best, there aren’t many good solo senti comps. If you had to choose one, you can go with Sage
in ranked just learn cypher/chamber and you're golden, sage is good in lower ranks but no trip makes her harder to play the better you get, and if you can master deadlock shes really hard to counter and can be really good, but you actually have to learn lineups and setups and shi or else she is kinda bum
in pro play:
Abyss- No senti is prob best but I'm a big fan of cypher and chamber, and I think that viper is hella underrated and is going to see way more play on abyss next year
Bind- Again no senti is best, just run viper like everyone else, but chamber is good until you get hard countered. Deadlock is a really good niche pick for super aggro comps like g2 last year, but please for the love of god dont run double senti its so rinsed
Corrode- No senti again is best, but cypher is hella underrated. I think that sage and vyse are overrated bc vyse doesnt provide enough info or stopping power, and sage is kinda buns because you cant really play for plant/post plant on corrode. chamber is cool tho
Haven- Cypher or kj, no other senti gives enough info on ct to warrant playing unless youre prx and you are gonna run hard aggro comps
Pearl- Prob the most flexible map for sentis, i would say its vyse only good map in the current pool. Sage and veto are fine, kj and cypher are good, chamber is really good, and deadlock is viable. I think that viper will make a comeback tho so more trad sentis are gonna die out a bit. I also think its the only map in the pool where double senti is actually sustainable
Split- No senti (what a surprise) bc viper is good, but i think that with dbl initi fading out in favor for dbl duel on split, both wall sentis are gonna become a bit better. I think cypher is not worth picking bc of how little he provides for t side, and chamber is pretty limited and easy to counter on split
Sunset- I don't really like dbl senti, and I think it will prob die out by masters 1/split 1, just bc dbl initi and dbl smokes are both better for execs and are more flexible. Solo sage/deadlock work best on this map bc of hard exec/plant meta, and I think that it counters dbl duel pretty well. Chamber is also really solid, gives you access to hard op lines that you can abuse if you dont want to play yoru/jett. Cypher is still prob the overall best bc his info is unparalleled, but he prob will go down in pick rate js because so many other sentis are good now and viper looks like shes gonna be meta

Pearl: vyse/kj
Fracture: cypher
Icebox: sage+kj
Ascent: cypher
Split: cypher+sage
Haven: kj
Bind: deadlock
Honestly... Just play viper every map as your sentinel. Does the same job except it can do more on attack
the answer is chamber, but not including i guess kj, Corrode, Abyss and Split ig are bad for her tho
