Someone remind me again what will happen to teams that renew their contracts in 2027 ? Another 4 years till 2031?

nah i don't think it will be four, rather 2 after all the teams who have been dropped

I agree , initially I was cooking an idea that both japanese slot should be cycled every year but to keep the incentive alive they get a larger share than the rest. But if 2 years is the new duration then there is no need for this idea lol

next cycle is not announced yet. we have yet to know new rules, format, time, etc

Open circuit will work if val somehow built CS level of infrastructure. Clear divide between tier 1, tier 2, tier 3 tournaments, several TOs, RIOT's own VRS-like structure
