No, babybay was. Most of these teams playing veto on abyss are doing so cuz of G2
It was successful enough that all these teams decided to try veto on abyss cuz of him
You can cope about it but objectively no one showed Veto on Abyss in pro play before him
babybay may have been the first “successful” installation of veto on abyss but to say that other teams use it now because of him and G2 is disingenuous because he looked kinda mid on the agent
Teams are not taking other players’ individual performances into account when making comp decisions, only how well they can translate the theory of the agent into practice
yes and i highly doubt one 50/50 map in which the veto was pretty inconsequential to the actual scoreline was the sole reason it’s being played
player performance does matter because if the only vod of that agent is them getting shit on, you’re gonna not want to play them lmao
