Recently on twitter ive seen ALOT of EMEA hate, now twitter is a hellhole, but im wondering, anyone got an idea why?

Emea and NA players get way more hate than apac, it’s kinda annoying how APAC and CN players are infantilized
I’d say it’s more so just banter between NA and EMEA fans, but for whatever reason CN and APAC are off limits
i mean i see alot of "thank god EMEA didnt get a trophy in 800+ days" and "thank god EMEA didnt reach top 4"
kinda weird thing to say if your mad on EMEA for having 3 slots in GC. THey don't decide that LMFAO

Worst example I could have chosen tbh, jinggg definitely gets a lot of hate and is underrated to this day imo, was very close to being Toronto mvp which isn’t acknowledged
But my point is the same regarding apac pros

Emea is too easy to hate tbh. NA and EU are rivals in a lot of games and APAC has a bad history in general with EU
if this is about gc: 3 slots only to not even make top 4 while na, br and latam only have 1 guaranteed slot with the second one being LCQ
okay so how does EMEA have any effect on this? its not like they are begging "OH MY GOD PLS GIVE ME 3 SLOTS"
with having 3 slots you would expect one of those teams to at least crack top 4, but they couldn’t even do that so hence they are getting a lot of hate
yeah but i'm saying: EMEA doesn't have any say in how many slots they have?
and the fact that they didnt get top 4 is crazy; if one team would get 4th place, people would be saying "they can't even get top 3"

they put us emea bcz they are trying to equalize the number of players compared to other regions and its very stupid tbh. they should take 2 mena teams in emea and move us to apac which is our region.

I don't talk about GC. but about vct why emea get so much hate because vct analysers used to be always put emea teams at top which is arguably correct because when you watched all regions seperately you can see emea teams play so good, like correct way.
But apac players do flashy plays and incorrect plays and somehow win rounds.
America is like find better thing to abuse(gun or agent or meta) and be good at abusing it.
CN teams play more weired. people still not watch much and they are like apac in few years back.
I don’t agree with Emea playing the game “correctly”, Americas is nearly always adapting to new metas and agents quicker, and learning new maps faster than Emea

It’s a really bad take because Amer is nearly always ahead both in terms of meta and maps historically (first to master chamber, neon, viper harbor, tejo, waylay, loud ascent comp, nrg corrode comp, g2 lotus comp( (mastered fracture, pearl, and corrode first)
