It's because a lot of people uses monkey emoji to be racist with brazilians. She just was unhappy to used it after talk about a brazilian team
when im in a "trying to make every single pro player hate me" competition and my opponent is a BR e-Sports fan.......
Ofc they will Brazilians winning one match out of 10 in VCT they get toxic so fast
she used a monkey emoji in her tweet saying that she lost to a brazilian team and shes facing another brazilian team tomorrow, what made the situation worse tho is that she never used that emoji before and brazilians are REALLY defensive on that type of things

Everyone knows that brazilians don't like people using monkeys or other stuff talking about them, it is widely known.
Nevertheless, from time to time someone does that, with or without intentions. I think it would be just a goog practise to avoid doing it, but still always someone, being too naive, repeats and flames the brazilian fanbase.

tbf, as much as it pains me to defend anyone, I do believe her, this emoji is not necessarily racist, just an unfortunate usage of said emoji
