The contract was like that, because of partnership between koi and infinite reality, which infinite reality would take the management and koi would focus on Spain (I think). koi escaped the infinite reality hell by them breaking a clause in the contract which koi could escape (seems funny right, where koi broke a clause in vct)
The contract for these players were still active even after the partnership broke, because it was on koi’s name. Then the merger between KOI and OverActive Media (MAD Lions, Movistar Riders) happened and the management was getting better, because it was going from koi’s side now.

it's the company that owns rogue (a team that owns a spot in the lec), like overactive media that owns mad lions, movistar riders, toronto ultra, koi (now all merged into koi), which is currently partnered with navi in the lec. they were partnered with koi, so koi can get somehow into lec and both would benefit with the reach of the spanish audience (ibai). in the agreement there was that infinite reality (the company that owns rogue, a spot in lec) would manage the teams and koi should mostly focus on the spanish audience.
