VRL Spain: Rising occupied three countries: Portugal, Spain and Italy. In spite of this, most of the teams participating in the open qualifier were Spanish or Italian. The closed qualifier was a simple eight-team single-elimination Bo3 bracket. The first two squads hailed from Spain, while Portugal and Italy were respectively represented in the final two teams.

There were no upsets in the quarterfinals and semifinals of this closed qualifier. Boavista FC and CyberGround Gaming were swept in the opening rounds, swiftly ending Portugal and Italy's representation in the closed qualifier. Case Esports and 19esports came up strong in the closed qualifier, winning both their quarterfinals and semifinals matches. Both played the grand final to decide the final slot.

The Bo5 grand final was comfortably controlled by Case Esports, who took a 3-0 clean sweep win to secure the final VRL Spain slot.

VRL Spain: Rising is scheduled to start on February 15. Out of the ten participating teams, six will advance to the playoffs. The full team list is:
