Work from home remote job:
- Normal day shift with average salary or night shift with double the average salary?
Which yall think is better and why?
Work from home remote job:
of course night shifts exist dude, i'm saying most people would prefer working days
it probably isnt a typical night shift, but i work 3 pm - 12 am, typically 12-12, and its night
People who work nights alongside other gigs or manage to study on the side are actual demons man idk how they do it
i was rotating between 9-9 and 1-1 and i couldn't get anything done before or after work
It depends on whether you're single and need money or you have a partner/family/friends you deeply value spending evenings with
When you say night, do you mean like 3-11 or overnight? If it is not overnight, take the night shift. Double the pay is insane.
ok now thats pretty damn trash, but the weird life is pretty cool man i used to wake up 2 am for my job andx that was kinda cool, now i wake up 10 am and get off mdinight and its also weird and cool
For double the pay I would say its worth it short term, but its gonna be fucking tough. Your circadian rhythm will be ruined and you might even need blackout curtains so you can sleep when you get home. Also if you have a lot of savings or are well off I would say not worth it.
think bout ur health on the long run, u will fuck ur body and brain if u fuck up
Night shift isn't worth it someone close to me does it nd I have hated how hard it takes toll on her . Maybe work from home is still doable but going out is completely messy , you don't have time to do anything else or talk to people or anything plus you harm yourself.
Listen, people will say night shift is bad for you, and thats both true and false. What matters is how it will affect your mind/body, how important the money increase is to you, and your own life style. some people benefit from it, some people arent affected, but some people ruin their lives because of it. if you dont abuse caffeine, regularly check in with your doctor, and ALWAYS stick to the same sleep schedule, and possibly most important get as much sun in as possible, you will most likely be fine. invest money in blocking the sun while you sleep and get good vitamins.
also the negative effect of night shift on your health is attributed to bad eating habits, bad quality of sleep/not enough, and sitting all day to top it off.
Shoutout Philipines also yeah im pretty sure night shift harm is 100.00% because of the bad habits people commit to. Same way truckers are so fucked, bcus most of them dont get out, stretch, pace/walk, they just eat gas station and fast food, they dont buy vitamins and get good nutrients. im willing to bet truckers average less than a cup of vegetables per week. the same goes for night shift workers, they drink a shit ton of caffeine and get zero sun. treat your body right, and keep a steady sleep schedule and youre fine.
Night shift easily, You don't have to worry about your health being affected by night shift, as long as you eat properly (healthy food not junk trash), workout, and get enough and high quality sleep, you dont have to worry about your health
You treat it as if it was a regular day shift
Get some vitamine D as supplements since you're not going to get as much sunlight
if you take proper care of yourself and get some vitamin B gummies go for the double pay but YOU need to have a good sleep schedule for it so you aren't dead all the time
If you dont have a house choose night shift
save money and buy a house
then switch to normal day shift or change your job
