How you play this shit? Explain to me like it’s Deadlock or something. You have to fight lanes and destroy their boss before they destroy yours and if you kill them as you clear their lane, and beat them to the boss, you win right?

I started watching (not playing) LoL in this tournament only and one thing I understood is gold >>> kills. kill monsters to get gold and increase your levels and destroy opponents' towers. But I've no idea about the equipment/magic items.
yeah, a 5k-7k gold lead is equivalent of a 9-3 in val
very ahead but still throwable
More like 10-2 or 11-1 tbh. Depending on the attack side or defense side 9-3 isn't that crazy of a gap especially if you win pistols in val. While losing a game with 7k gold is a crazy bad choke.
does red/blue side even matter... the arena is symmetrical right??? so how does it matter
Matters in draft and being close or far to objectives. Like for drafting blue side team can pick champs first but red side can counterpick those picks. Red is closer to bottom side objective the dragon while blue side is closer to top side objectives:- baron and rift herald.
Generally in pro level blue side has a slight advantage and better win rate.
ok so pick wise its red at the adv but blue is closer to better obj/monster (baron & rift harald)
LoL is really complex game just enjoy seeing it haha it's difficult to understand I played but could never understand magic items and stuff champions and lanes are the easy part even more difficult is macro and micro stuff
