the LAN points are different for ACE masters (e.g. vlr.gg has LYON getting +60 points, whereas liquipedia has LYON getting only +30)

this is hugely problematic, as the LATAM finals qualification is (apparently) based on LAN points

vlr.gg's points would suggest that the combinations of qualified teams are:
BBB wins = BBB qualifies (BBB has 285 points, LYON has 250 points, FUE has 170 points)
FUE wins = LYON qualifies (LYON has 250 points, BBB has 245 points, FUE has 210 points)

liquipedia's points would suggest that the combinations of qualified teams are:
BBB wins = BBB qualifies (BBB has 265 points, LYON has 220 points, FUE has 150 points)
FUE wins = BBB qualifies (BBB has 225 points, LYON has 220 points, FUE has 190 points)

as you can see, vlr.gg suggests that this final would be very interesting to watch because it could determine whether LYON gets saved from being EXL's clone, whereas liquipedia suggests that this final would be very boring to watch as BBB qualifies either way

is this not just liquipedia already adding the won points to the tally? id imagine they both have the second place points at this moment already added, and then whatever the difference between 1st and 2nd is will be added after the final

e: LYON end third, so 220 points. If Contra lose, they are second, and end on 225, which places Fuego on 190. LYON end second

so yeah, i think theyre out? idk tho

im not sure i understand what ur saying sob sorry
but liquipedia should say:

LYON - 220 points (100 from Stage 1, 30 from ACE Masters, 90 from Stage 2)
CONTRA - 225 points (80 from Stage 1, 25 from ACE Masters, 120 minimum from Stage 2)
FUE - 150 points (15 from Stage 1, 15 from ACE Masters, 120 minimum from Stage 2)

it still has the point for Stage 2 at the minimum possible before the LB Semifinal and LB Final were played for some reason lol

yeah that tripped me up, so im pretty sure theyre just out unfortunately.

LCQ sends the loser of LAN vs LAS final so theyre actually fully out

although, the players and the team page seem to think if fuego win theyre through? doesnt really make sense to me but perhaps theres something im missing

i mean BESTIA are pretty solid as a team
they have:

Tacolilla (neon player) - ex-LEV player
Loss (duel) - ex-FUR ACAD player, played in EWC against 100T and went -6 BUT jett diffed Cryo so who really won
Melser (init / sometimes smokes flex) - ex-LEV and ex-KRU player you MUST know him
chubizin (smokes / sometimes init flex) - lowk dont know much about him except hes in LATAM south LMAOO
david - (senti) - im PRETTY sure hes one of the best LATAM south players, he's played for 9ZG and ShindeN and went to both 2023 and 2025 ascensions (got fucking terramogged by valyn in 2023 btw

Our calculations were ultimately correct from the get-go. The only discrepancies we had were from the ACE Masters calculations, due to the old cores of AB3/Stray Cats and Streamer Arena not considered into the total tally.

Also Melser Kindergarten/BESTIA's total points not being added up.

one thing ive noticed a lot with matches is that they dont update very fast and for example the TSS vs MAS game had split logged twice instead of lotus logged. now i am wondering how the matches are processed onto vlr?
