cuck initiator to duelist arc in ranked

used to only play sova in ranked - wins depend on my duelists and whether i can pop off on odin

now only playing waylay - win everything

i know people say ranked is just aim up to like immortal, but actually living it out feels so refreshing. unless you have fifty cypher setups on certain maps, i cant even imagine playing ranked on anything besides waylay/raze/sova

also abusing 0.1 1600dpi guardian buys and it feels like i'm playing an entirely different game

i play astra and all i have to say, is that people really like me, or really hate me, and there's no in between.

yeah taking duelist in the earlier ranks is the way but i fill as well sometimes, i usually instalock neon, unless its abyss then i go waylay, if the duelist roles are taken then i play fill like fade if initiator is needed or brim if smokes are needed

you know if u have really good aim, you can always frag out as sova too... duelists won't give u an aim advantage, but initiators will def give u util to gain advantage in fights

when i used to play rank i never touched duelist or chamber (2022 broken chamber btw) then i tried him once, loved it, realized the op was broken and easy asf and took zero skill then spammed him shortly before he got nerfed. not like i was hitting crazy flicks i was just playing common "off-angles" that everyone clears now

cypher players are cuck because they like watching and not doing anything

I am forced to play kj because of the nerfs and I semi smurf every game which is something I never did with cypher. maybe I should switch to chamber

I used to play sova fade but couldn’t win cuz teammates always ran ahead of my drone even when I called it.

Gotta play Senti, your one duty on atk is setting up a flank trip or occasional post plant util, and thats pretty much it, basically all other util you get to use for yourself, also you get flamed less if your not with you team since you can just use the excuse of lurking.

Def is even better, you just anchor site and get free kills, clear the lurker, lurk yourself, or if the other team attacks or something goes wrong you just get to hide or runaway. And by the time you die your team is usually already at site.

Also, if you die on atk its really not that big of a deal but if you get a kill that really helps out. Def is a little harder but its really not that bad.

I get what you mean but it's really a playstyle thing, and it goes deeper than one role vs another

for example I feel way better on Astra compared to Iso because I can set up my utility and then deploy it on reaction to save my ass

whereas with Iso I'll just end up in a fight before my shield is up and get no value, or have no way to get to safety after I kill one

and there's gonna be people who feel the opposite of you, in that they used to play Raze but kept dying on entry, then they started playing Sova and got to top frag by baiting and playing post-plant
